Orpha A. Okeley, aged 82, passed away on October 7, 2025, at her home in Bluffton, Indiana. A longtime resident of Bluffton, she originally hailed from Winamac. Her passing has left a significant void in the lives of her family and community.
She is survived by her three children: Michael Okeley of Bluffton, Barbara Okeley of Fort Wayne, and Diana Huffar of Bluffton. Orpha was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and cherished by seven great-grandchildren. Her family described her as a loving matriarch who dedicated herself to her loved ones.
Orpha was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Okeley, who passed away in 2023 after 65 years of marriage. The family also mourns the loss of her grandson, Bryan Huffar, who died in May 2021.

Memorial Services Scheduled
A memorial service will be held at the Roanoke Baptist Church on October 14, 2025. Visitation will take place at 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at noon. Friends and community members are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Orpha’s life.
