Carol Eggering Remembered for Love, Laughter, and Dedication

The family of Carol Eggering announced her passing on November 3, 2025, marking a profound loss for those who knew her. Carol, described as the heart of her family, was cherished for her unwavering love, humor, and positivity. Born on Long Island, she dedicated her life to raising her children, Robert, Kayla, and Lorin, always aiming to provide them with the best possible life.

Carol’s work ethic extended beyond her home. She balanced her professional commitments with family responsibilities, embodying grace and strength in all aspects of her life. In recent years, she expressed a desire to “find more peace in life,” a sentiment that her family intends to carry forward in her memory. Her laughter was infectious; those close to her often remarked that she found humor in everyday situations.

As a lifelong fan of the Mets, Carol famously encouraged her loved ones with the phrase, “Ya gotta believe.” Her family fondly remembers her as a source of joy and encouragement, with her grandchildren, Raegan and Nolan, being her pride and joy. A playful spirit, Carol once joked about her unfulfilled dream of marrying Phil Collins, showcasing her lighthearted nature.

Memorial Visitation Details

To celebrate Carol’s life, a memorial visitation will take place on November 11, 2025, from 16:00 to 19:00 at George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., located at 2053 Route 32, Rosendale, NY. Friends and family are invited to share their memories and pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Carol’s memory to Hudson Valley Hospice. Contributions can be made through their website at hvhospice.com.

Carol Eggering will be remembered not only for her dedication to her family but also for the joy she brought to everyone around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire her family and friends.
