Women’s Summit Set for May 8 in Downtown Moultrie

The 2026 Women’s Summit is scheduled for May 8, 2026, in downtown Moultrie, thanks to a collaboration between the Hope House Women’s Clinic and the Vashti Center for Children and Families. This event aims to provide practical resources and support tailored for women and girls in Colquitt County and surrounding areas.

Participants can expect a variety of offerings designed to enhance their well-being. Local businesses will set up booths from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing free screenings and information about available resources. In addition to these services, attendees will enjoy lunch and a craft activity, making it a comprehensive experience for women and girls.

The summit is entirely free of charge, but those wishing to receive a complimentary lunch must register in advance. Registration can be completed online or by contacting the Hope House Women’s Clinic directly at (229) 890-5244.

This initiative underscores the commitment of both organizations to empower women and children in the community. By inviting local businesses to participate, the summit aims to expand its reach and impact, ensuring that more individuals benefit from the resources available.

The event will take place on the courthouse square, a central location that encourages community engagement. Organizers hope to create an inclusive atmosphere where participants can connect with one another, learn about vital services, and enjoy a day dedicated to their needs.

As the date approaches, anticipation builds for what promises to be an enriching and supportive event for the women and girls of Moultrie and beyond.
