Tania Jordet, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a dedicated community member, has announced her candidacy for local leadership in Eagle. With a background in service that includes leading logistics units and working with the El Pomar Foundation, Jordet aims to bring a focus on integrity and transparency to the growing town.
In her campaign, Jordet emphasizes the need for leadership that listens to the community and acts in the interest of its residents. “Eagle is growing, and we all feel it — the traffic, the housing crunch, and the strain on our roads and sidewalks,” she stated. Acknowledging that growth can be beneficial, she insists it must be managed thoughtfully to ensure sustainable development.
Jordet believes that addressing existing issues should take priority over new projects. “We should fix what’s broken before adding more,” she said, advocating for reasonable taxes and projects that truly reflect the community’s needs rather than mere plans on paper. She highlights the importance of affordable housing for working families and seniors while also maintaining the small-town character and open spaces that define Eagle.
Focus on Infrastructure and Safety
Public safety is another critical area of concern for Jordet. She asserts that emergency routes and reliable exits cannot be afterthoughts. “We should have better road maintenance and smarter infrastructure planning before we even think about big new projects,” she remarked. Her approach aims to ensure that the community’s safety and accessibility are prioritized as Eagle continues to evolve.
Jordet’s commitment is underlined by her personal investment in the community. “I’m not running for status or politics. I’m running because I care deeply about this town and the people in it,” she expressed. By pledging to work hard, maintain transparency, and keep her promises, Jordet seeks to foster trust and collaboration among residents.
As the election date of November 4 approaches, Jordet hopes to earn the support of her fellow citizens. “Together, let’s shape Eagle’s future through leadership with integrity,” she concluded. Her vision for the town reflects a desire to balance growth with a commitment to community values, safety, and effective governance.
