Rumors regarding the health of former President Donald Trump intensified over the weekend, particularly after he had not made a public appearance since Tuesday. Trending topics on social media, including #trumpdead and #whereistrump, fueled speculation about his well-being. This chatter came to a head when Trump was spotted Saturday morning as he prepared to go golfing, as reported by Mediaite.

The concern over Trump’s health originated when veteran journalist Laura Rozen highlighted the absence of any scheduled public events for the weekend. She noted this detail in a post on social media platform X, which has garnered over 28.3 million views as of Saturday morning. Rozen remarked, “Trump has no public events scheduled all weekend. Don’t believe he was seen today either,” alongside an official White House schedule for verification.

Social media users quickly reacted. Influencer Majid Padellan, known as BrooklynDadDefiant, expressed confusion, asking, “Wait, WTF happened, I jump off Twitter for a few hours and now I’m seeing all these tweets that trump is dead?” Rozen responded, clarifying that her observation about Trump’s absence had sparked widespread speculation but was not intended to cause alarm.

Adding to the scrutiny, Trump has recently been photographed with visible bruises on his hands and swollen ankles, which did not go unnoticed by the public. Further commentary came from JD Vance, the Vice President, who spoke to USA Today about the situation. He stated, “Yes, terrible tragedies happen. But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people.”

Vance’s remarks echoed the concerns of many, suggesting that he was prepared for unexpected events regarding Trump’s health. He added, “If, God forbid, there’s a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten over the last 200 days.”

On Friday, Trump participated in an interview with Reagan Reese, a correspondent for the Daily Caller, although the details have not yet been published. Reese expressed surprise at the rumors, stating, “I wake up to see people freaking out that Trump’s sick or dead or something because he hasn’t been seen in a few days. I was with the president yesterday afternoon. I interviewed him for an hour. More details on our conversation to come today and through the weekend. We talked about everything. He was lively and chatty. It’s a great interview.”

As the weekend unfolds, Trump’s public visibility will likely remain a focal point for both supporters and critics alike, with many eager for clarity amid the swirling rumors.
