STACK Infrastructure, a key player in the digital infrastructure sector, successfully raised over $1.3 million during its annual Heroes of the Sea Charitable Fundraiser and Salmon Fishing Derby held in Astoria, Oregon. This significant contribution will benefit active-duty, reservist, and retired Chief Warrant Officers of the U.S. Coast Guard, in collaboration with the Coast Guard Foundation and the Pacific Northwest Chief Warrant Officers Association (CWOA).
With this year’s event, the total funds raised since the inception of the fundraiser now exceeds $3.4 million, reflecting a strong commitment to supporting the U.S. Coast Guard community. “We are deeply honored by the unwavering support from across the data center industry and the collective commitment to the U.S. Coast Guard,” stated Ty Miller, Chief Commercial Officer of STACK Americas. He emphasized how the event serves as a powerful reminder of the collective impact that can be achieved through community support.
In June 2025, STACK Infrastructure received the Guardian Award from the Coast Guard Foundation, acknowledging its ongoing dedication to U.S. Coast Guard service members. This recognition was highlighted during this year’s Heroes of the Sea event, which united STACK’s clients, partners, and supporters in a common cause.
The fundraiser not only promotes camaraderie but also highlights the vital functions of the U.S. Coast Guard, including the protection of maritime commerce, port infrastructure, and environmental stewardship. Although their service is essential, the needs of Coast Guard members can often go unnoticed, particularly in challenging times. The funds raised through Heroes of the Sea are crucial for addressing these needs promptly and effectively.
An important aspect of this initiative is the creation of the Heroes of the Sea Foundation Endowment Fund. Established in 2023 and now managed by the Coast Guard Foundation, this fund reflects a long-term commitment to supporting U.S. Coast Guard personnel. It aims to provide charitable distributions continuously, ensuring that vital programs such as emergency relief, educational support, and wellness initiatives will persist far into the future.
“The Heroes of the Sea endowment has become more than a vision; it is now part of a lasting legacy,” remarked Susan Ludwig, President of the Coast Guard Foundation. She added that the ongoing support of this event has fostered sustainable growth and uplift for the Coast Guard community.
STACK Infrastructure expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the Coast Guard Foundation, the CWOA, and all the sponsors, participants, and volunteers who contributed to making this year’s event a success. Their unwavering generosity and commitment play a critical role in advancing the mission of Heroes of the Sea, ensuring continued and meaningful support for the U.S. Coast Guard community.
As STACK Infrastructure continues to build its reputation as a leader in the digital infrastructure landscape, its efforts through this charitable initiative reflect a dedication not only to innovation but also to community and service.
