SeaWorld Orlando has announced exciting new details for its upcoming Howl-O-Scream event, set to launch on September 5, 2025. Among the new attractions is a haunted house cleverly titled The Rave Yard, which promises an immersive experience where guests will encounter the risen dead, eager to “party… forever.” The description on the Howl-O-Scream website highlights a vibrant atmosphere with bass resonating through graveyards and glowing mausoleums.
This year’s Howl-O-Scream will feature five haunted houses, with three already announced. In addition to The Rave Yard, attendees can look forward to the new Collector’s Curse, which revolves around ancient artifacts and “monstrous mutations,” and the returning favorite Farm 51, where visitors will experience a crash-landing in a remote wilderness.
The event will also see the return of Cannibal Harbor, a scare zone featuring haunted docks and fishermen, enhancing the frightful ambiance. Three themed bars will offer unique experiences: Space Gate 3, CarnEvil Curiosities, and Tormented, the latter boasting an “Arctic hellscape” theme.
In addition to the haunted houses and scare zones, the event will include a Victorian-era stage show titled Monster Stomp, inspired by the notorious Jack the Ripper. This show adds a theatrical twist to the haunting festivities.
Howl-O-Scream is an after-hours, separately ticketed event that will run on select nights until November 1, 2025. Tickets for single and multi-night access are currently available for purchase.
In a related note, SeaWorld will also host its family-friendly Spooktacular starting on August 30, 2025, which is included with regular day admission. This event aims to provide a more accessible Halloween experience for families visiting the park.
