Motorcycling Santas Ride to Support Children’s Hospice Today

Motorcycling Santas are set to embark on a festive ride today to support Children’s Hospice South West. The convoy will depart from Taunton at 10:00 and aim to arrive at Little Bridge House in Fremington around 14:30. This annual event not only spreads holiday cheer but also raises vital funds for the hospice, which provides care for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Riders will join from various regions, including Devon, Somerset, Cornwall, Dorset, Avon, Wales, and Gloucestershire, as well as from further afield. The event aims to unite motorcycling enthusiasts while supporting a worthy cause.

At midday, the bikers will make a one-hour stop in the centre of South Molton to participate in the Mayor’s Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West. Attendees can enjoy carols, browse stalls, and explore the Christmas Pannier Market, which promises a variety of festive activities.

The convoy will also take a brief pause at Venn Valley Winery near Landkey at approximately 13:20. This stop will provide an additional opportunity for participants to gather and celebrate the spirit of giving.

For further details about the event, interested individuals can visit the official website at www.santasonabike.org.uk or the Santas on a Bike to Little Bridge House Facebook page. This celebration exemplifies community spirit and the commitment to supporting children and families in need during the holiday season.
