Kenneth Francis Kendall Sr. passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, surrounded by family in Concord, New Hampshire. Born on February 7, 1934, in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, he was the son of Frank H. Kendall Sr. and Mary M. Sherrick. Kenneth was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joyce Ashland Kendall, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.
Kenneth dedicated over 32 years of his career to Rumford Press, where he worked as a press operator. His passion extended beyond his profession; he was also an accomplished guitarist and a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Kenneth found joy in sharing his faith and spent significant time studying and discussing his beliefs, particularly his relationship with Jehovah God.
Family was central to Kenneth’s life. He relished the moments spent with loved ones, particularly at the family’s camp in Washington, New Hampshire, which he built himself. His legacy includes five sons: Kenneth F. Kendall Jr. of Alaska, Kevin Kendall and his wife Sandy of Concord, Craig Kendall and his wife Jane of Washington, Daniel Kendall and his wife Arlene of Barnstead, and daughter Tracy Hale and her husband Christopher of Tuxedo Park, New York.
Kenneth is also survived by his brother, Richard Kendall of Concord, along with many nieces and nephews. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, including Kenneth F. Kendall III of Liverpool, New York, and Chad Kendall of Manchester, New Hampshire, among others. His great-grandchildren include Hayley, Mya, Bella, Jasper, Greyson, Maria, and Jackson, who will carry on his memory.
In addition to his immediate family, Kenneth was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Mason, and brothers Frank Jr., Paul, and Oscar.
A funeral service to honor Kenneth’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on November 8, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 199 East Side Drive, Concord, New Hampshire. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate his life and the impact he had on those around him.
