Join Catholic Charities for Monthly KNOW Poverty Hour Event

Catholic Charities is hosting a monthly event called KNOW Poverty Hour, aimed at raising awareness about poverty and fostering community involvement in addressing this critical issue. This initiative invites community members to participate in an informative one-hour tour that discusses the organization’s mission, the populations it serves, and collaborative efforts to combat poverty.

Event Details and Community Engagement

The KNOW Poverty Hour will take place at 249 W. Thornhill Dr., Fort Worth, on the second Thursday of each month, from 12:00 to 13:00. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the various programs offered by Catholic Charities while enjoying a complimentary lunch. To ensure adequate arrangements, those interested in attending must RSVP by contacting [email protected] or registering on the organization’s website.

This initiative not only aims to educate participants about the realities of poverty but also encourages them to engage directly in the fight against it. By walking alongside Catholic Charities, individuals can contribute to efforts that aim to uplift families and create positive change within their communities.

Addressing Poverty Together

Through the KNOW Poverty Hour, Catholic Charities emphasizes the importance of community solidarity in tackling poverty. The organization has long been committed to providing essential services, and this event serves as a platform for individuals to connect and collaborate on solutions.

As the first event of its kind, the KNOW Poverty Hour represents a growing recognition of the need for collective action in addressing this persistent challenge. By participating, community members are encouraged not only to learn but also to become advocates for change in their own neighborhoods.

For those looking to make a difference, the KNOW Poverty Hour offers a practical and engaging way to get involved. Through education and community collaboration, Catholic Charities hopes to inspire a more informed and active response to poverty, one family at a time.
