The Hazleton Camera Club recently held its monthly meeting and photo competition for November, focusing on the theme of landscapes. The event showcased the talent of local photographers, culminating in a competitive showcase of stunning imagery.
Mary Louise Good claimed first place with her captivating landscape photograph, while Mark Koskulitz took home second place. Robert Spencer, who also won third place in the competition, was recognized as the club’s Photographer of the Year. The fourth-place position went to Koskulitz, making it a notable evening for him as well.
The club announced that the runners-up for the Photographer of the Year title included Tony Berard in second place, followed by Mark Koskulitz in third, and Ann-Marie Neikum in fourth. All winning photographs are available for viewing on the club’s website, allowing the community to appreciate the artistic efforts of these talented photographers.
Upcoming events promise to keep the momentum going for the Hazleton Camera Club. The next meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on January 26, 2024, at the Conyngham Borough Building. Attendees will once again have the opportunity to participate in a photo competition, this time centered around the theme of shadows.
