During the annual Customer Service Week, held from October 6–10, 2025, Entergy recognized the vital contributions of its employees in delivering exceptional service to customers and communities. The company, which prioritizes a customer-centric approach, took this opportunity to spotlight individuals who exemplify its commitment to providing safe, reliable, and affordable power.
Recognizing Outstanding Service in Texas
This year, Entergy Texas highlighted the achievements of two customer service managers: Dashuan Armstrong from Port Arthur and Corrin Barrow from Conroe. Their dedication and passion reflect Entergy’s mission to prioritize customer needs in every aspect of its operations.
Dashuan Armstrong joined Entergy in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience from over a decade in retail management at Target and eight years in military service. His diverse background has equipped him with the skills necessary to connect with individuals from various backgrounds, enhancing his effectiveness in customer service.
Armstrong expressed his commitment to problem-solving, stating, “Every day is different. You never know what you’re going to run into, but the goal is always the same: find a solution.” His satisfaction comes from helping others, whether resolving issues over the phone or engaging with the community. He emphasized the importance of multitasking, active listening, and understanding different perspectives in his role.
“The best advice I’ve received is to not take things personally,” Armstrong shared. “When customers reach out, they may be frustrated, but it’s about their situation. If you listen, and show you’re there to help, you can turn that frustration into trust.”
Building Trust Through Relationships
The significance of Customer Service Week extends beyond individual recognition; it serves as a reminder of the collective effort made by employees like Armstrong and Barrow. Their stories exemplify Entergy Texas’s commitment to serving customers with empathy and reliability.
Corrin Barrow, also honored during the week, has demonstrated similar dedication in her role. The recognition of both employees underscores Entergy’s belief that exceptional customer service is about fostering trust and building lasting relationships.
Stuart Barrett, Vice President of Customer Service for Entergy Texas, remarked on the importance of this recognition. “As we celebrate Customer Service Week, it’s vital to remember that great customer service is about more than solving problems; it’s about building trust and lasting relationships,” he stated. “I’m grateful to our teams who show up every day to make a difference for our customers.”
The celebration of Customer Service Week at Entergy highlights the essential role that employees play in delivering quality service. Their dedication not only impacts customers but also strengthens community ties, ensuring that Entergy remains a trusted energy provider in Texas.
