Community Gathers to Celebrate Life of Colleen E. Dagesse

Colleen E. Dagesse, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on September 18, 1983, in Hartford, Connecticut, Colleen was known for her vibrant spirit, her love for family, and her unwavering dedication to those around her.

Colleen’s upbringing as a “farm girl” fostered a unique mix of ruggedness and femininity. She cherished playing outdoors but also had a soft spot for all things girly, particularly the color pink. Her daughter, Rozzalynn, was the center of her universe, and Colleen dedicated herself to nurturing and supporting her.

The loss of Colleen is felt deeply by her family. She was the daughter of Richard and Linda Dagesse, and the sister of Corey Dagesse (Sherri) and Sarah Mader (Nick). Her role as an aunt and a loyal friend enriched the lives of many, who will remember her fondly for the joy and laughter she brought into their lives.

Celebration of Life Planned

In honor of Colleen, a celebration of her life is scheduled for February 7, 2026, at Wapping Community Church in South Windsor. The event will take place from 14:00 to 17:00, inviting family and friends to gather, share cherished memories, and pay tribute to her legacy.

In lieu of flowers, Colleen’s family has requested that donations be made in her name to local animal shelters, reflecting her love for animals and commitment to community service. A private family burial is planned for a later date.

Colleen E. Dagesse will live on in the hearts of those she touched, in the laughter she inspired, and in the love she so freely gave. Her memory will serve as a reminder of the impact one person can have on the lives of many.
