Americus Civitan Club Installs New Officers for 2025-26

The Americus Civitan Club recently held its Officer Installation Ceremony for the 2025-26 term, welcoming a new leadership team dedicated to community service. The event recognized the roles of the newly elected officers, who will guide the organization in its mission over the coming year.

Cheryl Smith assumes the role of President, with Lisa Wiggins serving as President Elect. Keelan Barkley transitions to Immediate Past President, while Ethan Wolfe takes on the responsibilities of Sergeant at Arms. Grant Williams has been appointed Secretary/Treasurer, and Corbett Howell will serve as Chaplain.

Leadership Transition

The installation ceremony was conducted by Grant Williams, who holds the title of Past District Governor. During the event, the ceremonial gavel was formally passed from Keelan Barkley to Cheryl Smith, symbolizing the transition of leadership within the club. This moment marked a new chapter for the Americus Civitan Club as it prepares to embark on various community projects and initiatives.
