New Urgent Care Clinic Opens in Waynesburg to Enhance Local Health Services

WVU Medicine has expanded healthcare access in Greene County with the opening of a new Urgent Care clinic at the Waynesburg Outpatient Center. This facility aims to provide immediate medical attention for non-emergency health issues when regular doctor’s offices are unavailable or when patients cannot wait for an appointment.

The Urgent Care clinic addresses various health concerns, including broken bones, coughs, colds, flu, infections, rashes, sprains, and strains. According to WVU Medicine, the expert team is committed to delivering compassionate and efficient care, helping families return to their best health. Additionally, the clinic offers seamless access to follow-up appointments and specialty referrals when necessary.

Convenient Access and Comprehensive Services

The Waynesburg Urgent Care is open seven days a week from 08:00 to 20:00, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Patients do not need an appointment to receive care at any WVU Medicine Urgent Care clinic. Available services include treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, laboratory and imaging services, vaccinations, and sports physicals.

Beyond urgent care, the Waynesburg Outpatient Center provides a full range of primary care, OB-GYN, pediatric, and specialty services. This comprehensive offering ensures that residents have access to a broad spectrum of healthcare options, regardless of the day or time.
