Kauai Fitness Innovator Launches Free App for Local Health Revolution

A new fitness initiative launched by Doug Jones, a veteran fitness trainer, aims to transform health in Kauai through a free fitness app. Over the past seven months, Jones has dedicated considerable effort to develop the Super 7 Daily Fitness Tracker, which he is now ready to test with a group of 77 local participants. This program seeks to provide an accessible pathway to improved health and fitness for individuals at various levels of experience.

Jones, who has served clients for decades and earned his Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Maryland, invites Kauai residents to join him in this unique fitness journey. Participants will engage in a seven-week program designed to help them understand effective fitness practices while working towards their health goals.

Program Details and Goals

The initiative is focused on simplifying fitness, particularly for those who may not have participated in traditional exercise programs. Jones emphasizes that this app will guide users through a process of training themselves, making fitness more approachable for those who might feel overwhelmed by conventional workout regimes. With a focus on minimal exercise yielding maximum results, the program aims to challenge the common notion that extensive workouts are necessary for success.

Participants will learn about the physiological benefits of various exercise techniques, including circuit training and the importance of understanding one’s body mechanics. Jones believes that the key to effective fitness lies not in the duration of workouts, but in the quality and intensity of the exercises performed.

Community Engagement and Free Access

On September 6, 2023, Jones will be available to discuss the program during the Kapaa Art Walk, held from 18:00 to 21:00. He encourages community members to engage in conversations about fitness and nutrition while providing insights into the app’s functionalities. As a token of appreciation for participating in the testing phase, those selected will receive seven months of free access to Jones’s online course, the Super 7-Week Shape-Up System.

Jones’s mission aligns with his long-standing commitment to giving back to the local community. He aims to empower individuals to take control of their fitness journey, regardless of their starting point. By fostering a sense of community and shared experience, he hopes to inspire a broader movement towards improved health and wellness across Kauai.

Jones’s initiative not only promises to benefit individual participants but also aims to create a ripple effect throughout the community, encouraging more people to prioritize their health in a supportive environment. For anyone interested in participating, the selection is on a first-come, first-served basis, highlighting the urgency and excitement surrounding this innovative fitness opportunity.
