Born on April 3, 1971, to the late Regina (Gallagher) and Morris Nagle, Tim was raised on the East Side of Allentown. He attended Our Lady Help of Christians School and graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1989. In June 1997, he married his lifelong partner, Lisa Ebert, and together they welcomed two sons, Evan and Jack. Tim embraced the role of a dedicated father, actively participating in his children’s lives.
A Passion for Golf and Community Engagement
Tim was a lifelong resident of Allentown and became a prominent figure in the Lehigh Valley golf scene. His dedication to the sport led him to become what many described as a “scratch golfer.” His enthusiasm for golf was infectious, and his extensive travels across the United States and beyond allowed him to forge lasting friendships with fellow golf enthusiasts. Those who played with him often appreciated his willingness to share tips and engage in light-hearted banter on the course.
Professionally, Tim held various roles at Pipeline Petroleum in Macungie and Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Palmerton. His love for golf culminated in 2014 when he opened and managed the Blue Shamrock Golf Club in Palmerton. Under his leadership, the club gained recognition as a premier golf destination in the region, showcasing his vision and dedication.
When not on the golf course, Tim enjoyed skiing with his family at local resorts, including Blue Mountain, and traveled to skiing destinations in Vermont and the Western United States. He also embraced adventure through family travels, visiting locations such as Bermuda, Florida, Ireland, Italy, Austria, and New Zealand.
A Life Celebrated by Family and Friends
Tim’s affinity for fishing began in his youth at Saylors Lake and local creeks, eventually expanding to deep-sea fishing during family vacations. Friends and family fondly recall his ability to bring joy to any gathering. Tim was known for his humor, cooking skills, and commitment to ensuring everyone had a great time. His generosity extended beyond social events, as he often assisted others with various needs, large and small.
Survived by his wife, Lisa; sons Evan and Jack; father-in-law Bruce Ebert; sister-in-law Tari Ebert; sister Jane Nagle; brothers Michael and Matthew Nagle; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, Tim’s absence will be profoundly felt.
