Tryon Downtown Development Association Launches Holiday Festivities

The Tryon Downtown Development Association (TDDA) will kick off the holiday season with its annual “Jingle & Mingle” event on November 28, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Tryon. This festive gathering aims to unite the community for an evening rich in holiday shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Local businesses will extend their operating hours, encouraging visitors to explore the unique products and services they offer. The event promises a vibrant market atmosphere, as artisan vendors set up booths featuring handmade crafts and holiday treats, providing an excellent opportunity for attendees to find special gifts.

Annual Wreath Competition Highlights Local Creativity

A key feature of the evening will be the Merchant Wreath Competition, where local businesses will display their most creative wreath designs. Community members are invited to stroll through the beautifully decorated streets, cast their votes for their favorite wreath, and soak in the festive spirit that Tryon has to offer.

This year’s event is free and open to the public, ensuring that everyone can partake in the holiday cheer. According to the TDDA, “Jingle & Mingle” is not just a market; it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the joy of the holiday season.
