Tributes Pour In for Haydn T. Evans, 101, of Dallas

Haydn T. Evans, a respected resident of Dallas, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 101. His death occurred at Meadows Manor, where he had been receiving care in his later years. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jean Stacey Evans, who shared a long and loving partnership with him throughout their lives.

Memorial Services Scheduled for November 25

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Hugh B. Hughes & Son, Inc. Funeral Home on November 25. The calling hours will take place from 10:00 to 10:30 AM. Following these hours, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Hanover Township.

The funeral home is located at 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, providing a welcoming space for the community to gather and honor Haydn’s life. Friends and family are encouraged to attend and share their memories during this time of mourning.

Contributions and Online Condolences

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making memorial contributions to the Evans Memorial Youth Fund at the Forty Fort United Methodist Church, located at 10 Yeager Ave., Forty Fort, PA 18704. This fund reflects Haydn’s commitment to supporting youth in the community, a cause that was close to his heart.
