Tenor Gavan Ring has officially joined Keynote Artist Management for worldwide representation. This new partnership marks a significant step in Ring’s career, allowing him to expand his presence on the international opera scene.
Ring has garnered acclaim for his performances with prestigious companies, including La Monnaie, Glyndebourne, Garsington, Irish National Opera, and at the BBC Proms. Looking ahead, he is scheduled to return to Glyndebourne during the 2025-26 season and perform with Blackwater Valley Opera. Additionally, he will collaborate with the Irish Baroque Orchestra, lead recitals at Wigmore Hall, and perform as a soloist with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Principado de Asturias.
In a recent press release, Ring expressed his enthusiasm about the new chapter in his career, stating, “I am hugely excited about this new chapter with an absolutely stellar, vibrant, and dynamic team in Sioned Jones and Natalie Davies at Keynote. I cannot wait to see what this new era will bring!”
As he embarks on this journey, Ring took a moment to acknowledge his long-time mentor, Maxine Robertson, who is retiring after more than 40 years in the classical music industry. Robertson has played a vital role in Ring’s development as an artist, particularly in his transition from tenor baritone to tenor. “She has been an unwavering believer in me as an artist and, most importantly, a true friend,” he remarked.
This collaboration with Keynote Artist Management aligns Ring with a team known for nurturing talent and fostering successful careers in the arts. As Ring prepares for upcoming performances and engagements, the support from Keynote will likely enhance his visibility and opportunities on the global stage.
The announcement of Gavan Ring’s new management comes at a time when the classical music industry is witnessing a resurgence of interest, as audiences seek to experience live performances once again. With his rich background and upcoming projects, Ring is poised to make a significant impact in the world of opera in the coming years.
