Salle Cortot Unveils Exciting October 2025 Performance Lineup

Salle Cortot has officially announced its performance schedule for October 2025, featuring a diverse lineup of vocal performances. The month will highlight renowned artists and a prestigious singing competition, showcasing both established and emerging talent.

Ambroisine Bré, an acclaimed soprano, will perform alongside conductor Christophe Rousset and the ensemble Les Talens Lyriques on October 11, 2025. This concert will present a captivating program that includes works by celebrated composers such as Monteverdi, Lambert, Froberger, Purcell, Couperin, and Lully. The collaboration promises to deliver an evening rich in historical and musical depth, drawing from the rich traditions of baroque and classical music.

In addition to Bré’s performance, the 13th edition of the Concours International de chant-piano Nadia et Lili Boulanger will take place at Salle Cortot. The initial rounds of this prestigious competition are scheduled for October 23 and 24, 2025, with the semifinals and finals occurring on the following days. This event aims to discover and promote outstanding vocal talent from around the world, celebrating the legacy of the Boulanger sisters.

On the same days as the competition, bass-baritone Adrien Fournaison will present a recital alongside pianist Natalia Yeliseyeva. The program will feature an impressive array of works by composers including Holst, Rossini, Schubert, Wolf, Poulenc, Moore, Fauré, Nadia Boulanger, Brahms, and Séverac. This performance on October 23, 2025, promises to be a highlight of the month, showcasing Fournaison’s rich vocal artistry.
