The latest episode of The Masked Singer delivered an unexpected twist as popular contestant Queen Corgi announced her self-elimination. This surprising decision came after a memorable performance during the show’s themed night, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night,” broadcast on the Fox Network.
Following a series of captivating performances, Queen Corgi stunned both the audience and judges by opting to leave the competition. Her exit marked a unique moment in the show’s history, as host Nick Cannon noted, “This has never happened before at this stage.”
In a heartfelt farewell, Queen Corgi expressed her gratitude for the experience but felt it was time to step aside. “I just feel my time has come. I’ve learned so much about myself, but my time is up,” she explained. She emphasized her desire for the remaining contestants to enjoy their journey, stating, “There are so many amazing contestants, and I want them to have the best experience, so I am bowing out.”
The evening featured a mix of high-energy performances, including Katy Perry‘s “Teenage Dream” and No Doubt‘s “Just a Girl.” Queen Corgi delivered an outstanding rendition of Sia‘s “Unstoppable,” which had set the stage for her dramatic exit.
The panelists—Rita Ora, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Robin Thicke—were left in shock by her announcement. When asked if they could still make guesses about her identity, Cannon affirmed that Queen Corgi was indeed ready to leave. Subsequently, she removed her mask, revealing herself to be social media influencer and comedian Claudia Oshry, widely recognized for hosting The Toast podcast.
During her time on the show, Queen Corgi managed to maintain her anonymity, with the judges speculating various popular names including Amy Schumer and Maya Rudolph among others.
The next episode of The Masked Singer, titled “Red, White and Clue Celebration of America’s 250th Birthday,” is scheduled to air on February 4, 2026. As the competition continues, fans can expect more surprises and memorable performances from the remaining contestants.
