Popular Korean Streamer Na Dong-hyun Found Dead at 46

Na Dong-hyun, a prominent figure in the world of online streaming, was found dead at his home in Seoul on March 6, 2024. Known by his online alias Great Library, the 46-year-old internet broadcaster and game BJ (broadcast jockey) was discovered around 08:40 a.m. by firefighters and police who responded to a call from an acquaintance concerned about his well-being.

The incident took place in the Gwangjin District, where authorities reported that Na had missed a scheduled appointment and was unreachable for some time. The Gwangjin Police Station confirmed that no suicide note was found at the scene and that initial investigations showed no signs of foul play.

Na was a significant presence in the gaming community, amassing a following of 1.44 million subscribers on platforms such as AfreecaTV and YouTube. His engaging broadcasts featured a variety of games, including popular titles like StarCraft and League of Legends, cementing his status as a first-generation internet celebrity.

The news of Na’s passing has sent shockwaves through the online gaming community, where he was well-respected and admired. Fans and fellow streamers have taken to social media to express their condolences and share memories of his impactful career.
