Lockheed Martin Leads Sponsorship for 2026 National Memorial Day Concert

The 2026 NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT will air live on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the U.S. Capitol.

On this Veterans Day, November 11, 2025, Capital Concerts announced that Lockheed Martin will serve as the lead corporate sponsor for the upcoming 2026 National Memorial Day Concert. Scheduled for May 24, 2026, the concert will be broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, celebrating the sacrifices and service of military personnel and their families.

The National Memorial Day Concert is a significant annual event that pays tribute to those who have defended the nation. It features an array of storytelling, musical performances, and moments of reflection aimed at honoring the courage of military members and their loved ones.

Commitment to Veterans and Military Families

Michael Colbert, President and Executive Producer of Capital Concerts, expressed gratitude for Lockheed Martin’s continued support. “We are honored Lockheed Martin is continuing as lead corporate underwriter for the 2026 broadcast of the National Memorial Day Concert,” Colbert stated. He emphasized the importance of the concert’s mission to remember and honor those who have served.

Robert Head, Senior Vice President of Lockheed Martin Government Affairs, highlighted the company’s dedication to the military community. “The National Memorial Day Concert is an important part of Lockheed Martin’s ongoing commitment to supporting the military community,” he said. “On Veterans Day, and every day, veterans, service members, and military families are at the center of everything we do.”

Lockheed Martin employs over 121,000 individuals, with a significant portion being veterans, National Guard and Reservists, and military spouses, reflecting its strong connection to the military community. The company actively invests in charitable initiatives that support service members and their families.

2026 Concert Details and Broadcast Information

The National Memorial Day Concert will air live from 20:00 to 21:30 E.T. on public television stations across the United States, as well as on the American Forces Network for troops stationed globally. Additionally, the concert will be available for streaming on YouTube and the PBS website from May 24 to June 7, 2026.

Capital Concerts is recognized as the leading producer of live patriotic television events, including both the National Memorial Day Concert and A Capitol Fourth, which celebrate important American holidays from the U.S. Capitol.

As the concert approaches, the collaboration between Lockheed Martin and Capital Concerts underscores a shared commitment to honoring those who have served, ensuring that their sacrifices are remembered and celebrated annually.
