LG Electronics has announced the remarkable success of its AI-powered Radio Optimism campaign, which encourages individuals to express love and gratitude to family and friends through personalized songs. Launched on September 25, 2025, the initiative has led to the creation of over 700,000 unique AI-generated tracks, highlighting the enduring importance of human connection in an increasingly digital world.

The campaign was designed to inspire users to craft heartfelt messages, select a musical genre, and generate a song that reflects their feelings. This innovative approach has resonated globally, with the AI songs being listened to and shared more than 1.5 million times. By focusing on emotional connections, LG aims to combat the feelings of disconnection often associated with social media platforms.

Global Participation and Cultural Impact

Radio Optimism has received significant engagement, amassing over 30 million social media interactions and 2.4 billion views of its content. The campaign was made accessible in six languages, allowing people from diverse backgrounds to participate. Expressions of love were the most common theme, appearing in over 30 percent of the songs, while messages of gratitude and encouragement also featured prominently. Family members were the primary recipients of these songs, underscoring the importance of close relationships in people’s lives.

The campaign’s reach was further amplified through collaborations with both global and local influencers. Notable contributions included a special birthday song created by Australian father-daughter duo Ben and Zara for Ben’s son, and a heartfelt dedication by Brazilian creator Jessie Shen for her partner. These personal stories illustrate the evolving methods through which people convey affection and appreciation.

Commitment to Responsible Innovation

According to Kim Hyo-eun, head of LG’s Brand Management Division, the campaign has successfully helped individuals rediscover the timeless values of love and gratitude amidst changing times. “It deeply resonated with people worldwide, reflecting the lasting value of Life’s Good,” she stated. LG aims to continue fostering this connection and inspiring optimism.

The Radio Optimism initiative demonstrates how thoughtfully implemented AI can enhance emotional bonds in the digital age. Users were able to create songs based on properly licensed music from original artists, ensuring that LG maintains its commitment to responsible innovation while promoting a global movement centered on meaningful connections.
