Jim Messina Brings New Music to Rams Head in Annapolis

Legendary musician Jim Messina is set to perform at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis on November 25, 2023. He will take the stage at 20:00 with his new band, The Road Runners, showcasing tracks from their latest live album, “Here, There and Everywhere.” This event promises a diverse blend of musical styles, reflecting Messina’s extensive career in the music industry.

Messina is widely recognized for his role as a bassist in the influential band Buffalo Springfield, which was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. Following the band’s disbandment in 1968, he co-founded the groundbreaking country rock group Poco. His collaboration with Kenny Loggins in 1971 led to the creation of the successful duo known as Loggins & Messina. Over their eight-year partnership, they released eight albums, achieving remarkable sales of more than 16 million records, with hits including “Danny’s Song” and “Your Mama Don’t Dance.”
