This special weekend will feature a series of concerts, installations, and discussions, allowing audiences to engage with Reich’s influential music in innovative and immersive formats.
The festival will showcase performances by the Royal Northern Sinfonia and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, presenting some of Reich’s most celebrated classical compositions. Notable works to be featured include “Tehillim,” “Traveler’s Prayer,” “Jacob’s Ladder,” and the iconic “The Desert Music,” which can be performed by a chorus and orchestra or voices and ensemble.
