Renee (Wojcik) Nichols, a cherished member of her community, passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 55. She is remembered as a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Born on September 2, 1970, to Elaine M. Wojcik (Fontaine) and Richard Wojcik in Hudson, New Hampshire, Renee’s life was marked by her vibrant personality and her dedication to family and friends.
Renee graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, before earning a degree from St. Michael’s College in Vermont. She furthered her education with an MBA from Georgia State University. Her career in hospitality began in Washington, D.C., where she played a key role in launching two popular nightclubs in 1995. In 1996, she relocated to Atlanta, where she met her husband, Bradford Nichols. The couple married in 2004 and welcomed their first son, Hudson, a year later.
In June 2007, the family moved to New Hampshire to be closer to relatives and for Bradford to work at New England Financial Planning Group, established by Richard Wojcik in 1980. Shortly after their arrival in Nashua, Renee gave birth to their second son, Miller, in September of that year. Her children were the center of her universe, and she passionately supported them in all their endeavors, especially during their time at Bishop Guertin High School.
Renee was known for her adventurous spirit and love for life. She had a deep appreciation for family traditions, and the family often spent time together at the beach in Cape Cod and Wells, Maine. Throughout her life, Renee faced significant health challenges, battling cancer twice, yet her resilience and compassion remained evident to those around her. She touched the lives of many with her positivity and boundless energy.
Renee was also an accomplished yoga instructor, teaching at The Windsoul Wellness Center in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. Her love for fitness extended to pickleball, where she made numerous friends, and she was known for her keen sense of style and culinary talents. She often hosted friends and neighbors in her home, sharing meals and creating lasting memories.
Travel was another passion for Renee, who enjoyed exploring various countries with her family and friends, including trips to Italy, Switzerland, France, England, and beyond. Her adventurous spirit and zest for life made her a beloved figure in her community.
In honor of her legacy, the Bishop Guertin football team will wear her initials on their helmets for the remainder of the 2025 season. Renee leaves behind her loving husband, two sons, and a wide circle of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be organized at a future date, yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations made in her name to several charities, including Boston Children’s Hospital, Wells Mountain Initiative, and the Hudson Community Food Pantry in New Hampshire. Her impact on the lives she touched will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
