The popular CBS action drama series Tracker has announced its return date following a mid-season hiatus. The third season, which originally premiered on October 19, 2025, will resume with new episodes on March 1, 2025. The show will now air at a new time, shifting from its previous slot of 8:00 PM ET to 9:00 PM ET.
CBS recently unveiled its 2025-2026 midseason lineup, which includes the return of several other shows alongside Tracker. The network’s announcement revealed that the new timeslot for Tracker will now be occupied by the premiere of Y: Marshals, a spin-off of the hit series Yellowstone, featuring Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton.
Developed by Ben H. Winters, Tracker is based on the 2019 novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver. The storyline follows Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a skilled survivalist who uses his exceptional tracking abilities to assist law enforcement and those searching for missing persons. The cast also includes Fiona Rene as Reenie Greene and Chris Lee as Randy.
The series has garnered significant acclaim, achieving an 89% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes after 19 reviews for its inaugural season. Despite its success, Tracker has seen a number of cast changes recently. Prior to the third season, Abby McEnany and Eric Graise departed from their roles as Velma and Bobby, respectively. This follows the exit of Robin Weigert, who portrayed Teddi during the first season.
In addition to Tracker, CBS has confirmed that Watson Season 2 will also return on March 1, 2025, airing at 10:00 PM ET. Other upcoming shows include the highly anticipated Survivor 50, which is set to debut on February 25, 2025, and America’s Culinary Cup, premiering on March 4, 2025.
As CBS continues to expand its programming, the return of Tracker promises to bring more excitement to viewers in early 2025.
