Tri-State Community Foundation Opens Scholarship Applications for 2026

The Foundation for the Tri-State Community has officially opened its scholarship application process for local high school seniors aspiring to attend college. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance for tuition, supporting students from over 30 high schools across the region.

Scholarship Details and Eligibility

High schools included in the program span several counties, including Boyd, Greenup, Harlan, Martin, Lawrence in Ohio, Lawrence in Kentucky, Carter, Pike, Elliott, Cabell, Wayne, and Mingo. Last year, the Foundation awarded a total of $81,250 through 46 scholarships to deserving graduates. These funds are made possible by the generous contributions from community members, many of whom have established these scholarships in memory of loved ones or simply to support local students in their educational pursuits.

“These scholarships serve as a wonderful reminder that ordinary people can make an extraordinary impact in their community,” said Kathryn Lamp, CEO and president of the Foundation for the Tri-State Community. “We are committed to helping our local youth achieve their academic goals.”

Application Process and Deadline

Students interested in applying for these scholarships must submit their applications by March 13, 2026, at 3 p.m. The Foundation encourages all eligible seniors to visit their Scholarship Portal at https://tristate.iphiview.com/tristate/ to explore available scholarships and submit their applications.

The Foundation for the Tri-State Community, Inc. is a recognized 501(c)(3)Ashland, KY, dedicated to enriching the educational opportunities for students in the region.
