Lowndes County Schools Leaders Champion Education at State Capitol

Lowndes County Schools leaders gathered at the Georgia State Capitol on February 16, 2026, to advocate for public education and emphasize the significance of their district’s priorities. Superintendent Sandra Wilcher, Board Chairman Robert McGeehan, and District 7 Board Member Chris Buescher met with state and local representatives to discuss policies aimed at strengthening educational resources for students in Lowndes County.
