Local Students Achieve Academic Excellence in Fall 2025

Several local students have demonstrated remarkable academic achievements during the Fall 2025 semester, as institutions recognize their hard work and dedication. Notable among them is Daivik Vasantbhai Patel, a resident of Tifton, who has successfully completed his Master of Science in Engineering Management at Trine University.

Southern Regional Technical College Honors Students

Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) has announced its President’s List for the Fall 2025 term, which concluded on December 9. This prestigious recognition is awarded to students who maintain exceptional academic performance, specifically those who achieve an “A” grade in all coursework while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester credit hours.

The following students from Tifton earned a place on the President’s List: Kellie Thompson, Benjamin Tran, Yesenia Duque-Hernandez, Jose Rodriguez, Juan Salas, Eduardo Tovar Gutierrez, Lali Reyes, Amari Tillman, Mary Rootes, Cassidy Tompkins, Dalton Hobbs, Bobby Lovett, Alysia Cook, Olga Garcia, Jacardiya Sutton, Shahar De Gouveia, Zachary Saunders, Lilia Reyes, Ansleigh Luke, William Keys, Norah Owens, Shelbi Wise, Shiloh Wyatt, Tatiana Deshazer, Luis Martinez, Rachael Brown, Taylor Lee, Rania Tindall, Tyetiayuna Bennett, Caleb Pritchard, Phong Thai, Emma Thompson, and Karen Hernandez-Barradas.

Recognition at Southern New Hampshire University and Mercer University

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) has also recognized its outstanding students through the Fall 2025 Dean’s List. This list acknowledges full-time undergraduate students who achieve a grade-point average between 3.500 and 3.699 for the term. Among those honored are Courtney Seymour and Briyona Little, both hailing from Tifton.

Additionally, Mercer University has announced its President’s and Dean’s lists for the same semester. To qualify for the President’s List, students must meet strict GPA standards based on their college or school within the university. Students from Tifton who made the President’s List include Theo Cash, Stephen Denham, Alaysia Manghram, Julia McKeown, Phu Nguyen, Chase Nixon, and Ujvali Patel. The Dean’s List included Darrius Gipson, Kiondria Haggins, Karah Horner, Meshonna Mercer, Meredith Morgan, Aeron Watson, and Audrianna Webb.

These achievements underscore the commitment of local students to academic excellence and their contributions to their respective institutions. As they continue their educational journeys, their hard work serves as an inspiration to their peers and the broader community.
