As the holiday season approaches, schools in the Arlington area are preparing for winter break. The last day of classes varies among districts, with many students set to enjoy time off beginning mid-December.
Arlington Independent School District (Arlington ISD) will conclude its classes for the year on December 19, 2025, with elementary students having an early release. In contrast, Mansfield Independent School District (Mansfield ISD) has scheduled its final day of classes for December 18.
Several other districts will also close on December 19, including Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District (Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD), where students will also be released early.
In addition, the following schools will end their classes on December 19:
– Newman International Academy
– Arlington Classics Academy
– Jean Massieu Academy
– Trinity Leadership
– Premier High School of Arlington
– Great Hearts Texas (which will have an asynchronous learning day)
On the other hand, International Leadership of Texas and Uplift Education will wrap up classes on December 18. Kennedale Independent School District (Kennedale ISD) and Trinity Basin Preparatory will also conclude their classes on this same date.
As the winter break nears, families are encouraged to plan ahead for the days off. This time provides students with an opportunity to relax and recharge before the new year.
