World Investment Advisors Cuts Stake in Hartford Municipal ETF by 29.2%

World Investment Advisors has significantly reduced its stake in the Hartford Municipal Opportunities ETF (NYSEARCA: HMOP), selling 39,075 shares in the second quarter of 2023. According to the latest 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the institutional investor now holds 94,893 shares, representing a decrease of 29.2% from the previous quarter. As of the most recent filing, the value of these holdings is approximately $3,633,000.

Other institutional investors have also made adjustments to their positions in the Hartford Municipal Opportunities ETF. For instance, HighTower Advisors LLC increased its stake by 5.5% during the first quarter, acquiring an additional 86,456 shares. This brings their total holding to 1,659,080 shares, valued at about $63,792,000.

In addition, Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Co. saw its holdings rise by 7.1% during the same period, now owning 1,237,203 shares valued at $47,570,000. Raymond James Financial Inc. also increased its stake by 1.6%, bringing its ownership to 1,144,482 shares worth $44,005,000.

Another notable change came from Steward Partners Investment Advisory LLC, which boosted its holdings by 28.3%, acquiring an additional 155,195 shares for a total of 702,724 shares, currently valued at $27,020,000. Additionally, Apollon Wealth Management LLC established a new position in the ETF during the second quarter, valued at approximately $15,835,000.

Market Performance of HMOP

The Hartford Municipal Opportunities ETF experienced a slight decline of 0.6% in trading on Friday, opening at $39.06. Over the past year, the ETF has seen a low of $36.75 and a high of $39.84. The fund’s 50-day moving average stands at $38.92, while the 200-day moving average is at $38.41.
