Locals seeking new employment opportunities can attend the Saratoga Job Showcase on September 12, hosted by the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at Empire State University, located at 113 West Ave. in Saratoga Springs. More than 50 employers from various sectors, including construction, manufacturing, energy, finance, and technology, will be present, making this a significant opportunity for job seekers.
Admission to the showcase is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes to facilitate networking. The event aims to provide participants with the chance to establish in-person connections with recruiters and gain valuable resources to enhance their job search.

A dedicated networking session for the veteran and military community will precede the main event, starting at 9 a.m.. The Veteran & Military Meet and Greet will feature coffee, snacks, and an opportunity for veterans, active-duty service members, and their supporters to connect with employers and community resources.

This initiative aims to create an environment where veterans can share experiences and explore career possibilities with local employers.
Desiree Drindak, director of the Veteran and Military Resource Center at Empire State University, emphasized the importance of collaboration among community partners. She noted, “The Job Showcase and Veteran Networking events bring together community partners who are passionate about supporting veteran and military families in our region.”

The event is a collaborative effort involving various organizations, including the Veterans Business Council, the New York State Department of Labor, the Saratoga Economic Development Corporation, and the Naval Support Facility – Saratoga Springs, among others.
